Ian Power den 27-okt-2015:
Stayed in the Mespil for the Dublin City Marathon and came away with a feeling that the hotel taylored the stay towards the event a big positive in my eyes and I would recommend the Mespil to others
Hotel Guest den 25-okt-2015:
Nice hotel although the corridors are tired and dated.
jamie macdonald den 25-okt-2015:
All the staff at this hotel are excellent, as is the room, bar and breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. A 10 minute stroll to St Stephens Green and Grafton street shopping
Hotel Guest den 21-okt-2015:
The Mespil is a very friendly place. It's location is excellent and the facility of free parking is a real plus. The accomodation is a little dated but for the money it is excellent value and I would definetely stay there again.
John Sharkey den 20-okt-2015:
The hotel and staff were fine but the internet in our room is very erratic and makes for a less than ideal stay, I would rate it a 5 if you had good wireless
Louise Byrne den 20-okt-2015:
The staff were very helpful, kid friendly hotel and we would definately stay here again
Hotel Guest den 14-okt-2015:
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious room. The heating was central regulated, so our room was to hot for our liking.
Angus McDonald den 13-okt-2015:
When we arrived there was a problem at check in but Robert handled our query and looked after our bags while we went for a stroll by the canal. When we got back we were offered an upgrade to an executive room which was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff that we encountered were very polite and helpful if we had any requests. We have stayed at the Mespil when we have been in Dublin before and found it convenient for the city centre and the RDS. This is a very busy hotel but everyone seems to cope admirably. We will stay here again.
John Pratt den 12-okt-2015:
It had been some years since I stayed at this hotel. This time I stayed with a companion for three nights in October. My only criticism is about the lack of information about how to control the heating. We finally located the radiator hidden behind a panel. To get at the control valve a lid at the top of the panel had to be lifted. How easily we could have adjusted the temperature I cannot say as there was no need to do so. If it had been warmer the lack of air conditioning might also have been a problem. Apart from that we had a very nice stay in a very pleasant room with a large bed and agreeable furnishings. There was a good choice for breakfast. And we enjoyed the live music in the bar on one evening. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Hotel Guest den 12-okt-2015:
Had serious problems with the WIFI signal. Other than that, quite satisfied with the hotel.
Hotel Guest den 11-okt-2015:
Lounge area needs remodelling. Some bedrooms need updating. Overall the hotel is good value with friendly staff. I will stay again.
Hotel Guest den 10-okt-2015:

Maureen Hedderman den 6-okt-2015:
Lovely room. Great view. Slept like a log!
Hotel Guest den 4-okt-2015:
The tripple room is very small for 3 beds. Other than this the stay was perfect. The decor and standard of the room was excellent.
Hotel Guest den 3-okt-2015:
Great stay. Hotel was spotless and room was great, service also excellent. Would recommend.
Robert Selfridge den 30-sep-2015:
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a holiday in Dublin. We stayed at the Mespil for the first time and were extremely satisfied with hotel. The room was very comfortable, breakfast great and the staff were great. We will definitely be back to Dublin and the Mespil Hotel
Colleen Woods den 28-sep-2015:
Great location.....great restaurants in the area....easy walk to Grafton St. Particularly helpful was reception girl, I think her name was Ciara...who got us into our room early after a long overnight flight.

Hotel Guest den 10-sep-2015:
Excellent location, nice staff, pleasant lobby. Bed a little too short (I am 186) and a little narrow
Hotel Guest den 25-aug-2015:
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice rooms
Hotel Guest den 24-aug-2015:
We always enjoy our stay in the Mespil Hotel. It is a great hotel in a brilliant location. My only complaint would be with the hams/salamis/cheese which was served for the continental breakfast. The hams and salamis were very fatty meats which were unpleasant and inedible so that was disappointing.
michelle leonard den 21-aug-2015:
Nice and friendly staff. rooms are clean and very comfortable. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was o.k. Fry was light and not greasy, good enough choice. Hotel a good 20 min stroll to city centre, taxi costs about 8 - 9 euro. Hotel clean and tidy, felt safe and felt that I could of asked staff for help , Peter at reception was very helpful and nothing was a problem to him. yes, I would stay here again if i had a business trip,
Hotel Guest den 17-aug-2015:
The hotel was in an excellent location for going to the Aviva Stadium, staff were very professional and friendly but the hotel is tired and run down in places
Hotel Guest den 16-aug-2015:
Great Location and Hotel. Very helpful sfaff in all departments.
Hotel Guest den 5-aug-2015:
Great location and value for money hotel. Excellent staff.
Hotel Guest den 31-jul-2015:
I would suggest that with the hairdryer located in a drawer in the sleeping portion of the room that a mirror be hung nearby. One of your rooms only had a mirror in the bathroom. Very difficult for women to do their hair. Wonderful breakfast, was able to park despite limited spaces. Rooms were warm and windows did not open wide for airflow.
Richard Mellor den 29-jul-2015:
This hotel is excellent and reasonably priced: I recommend it. The accommodation and facilities are good as is the service. All the staff appeared very friendly and welcoming. It is located conveniently for central Dublin or for the Aircoach from the airport. The Irish buffet breakfast was tasty and the food was actually warm, which is unusual with hotels. A nice Irish touch was the empty refrigerator upon the luggage stand in the bedroom!
Laura Archer den 25-jul-2015:
We stayed at the Mespil twice on this trip--first, when we had just arrived, jet-lagged and exhausted, and then again at the end of our Connemara walking tour, one final day before our flight back. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, made sure we had everything we needed and helped us store luggage, arrage a large taxi for our group of five, print online tickets. Overall, a very positive experience. The rooms were clean and large, the tubs were amazing (especially on the way back, after 2 weeks of small electric showers!). The breakfast was good and ample. The location is close enough to the central city to be walkable (takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the heart of downtown), but it's far enough from the main streets to be nice and quiet.
Hotel Guest den 21-jul-2015:
Will stay again absolutely no complaints. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean. Breakfast a bit basic but fine
Isabel Lopez de Carvalho den 21-jul-2015:
