While Dublin is world-renowned for its culture and historical attractions, the Dublin shopping scene is a definite must for any fashionista. With a strong mix of boutiques, malls & high street gems, you might just venture home with a whole new wardrobe!

 

Grafton Street

Ireland’s most famous shopping street, Grafton street is located just a 15 minute stroll from Mespil Hotel, nestled inbetween the iconic St Stephen’s Green and Trinity College Dublin. The street itself is pedestrianised and features an eclectic mix of both high-end and high-street stores. Brown Thomas, Ireland’s premier luxury department store, showcases world famous designers such as Hermès, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton & many more. The street also features Cath Kidston, Disney, Tommy Hilfiger and River Island to name a few. Take a break from the shops and visit the famous Molly Malone statue or pitstop for a coffee in the historic Bewleys Café. You’re also bound to spot some buskers dotted along the street with some of Ireland’s most famous musicians known to have performed here including Glen Hansard, Damien Rice & Paddy Casey.

 

Kildare Village

Kildare village located a 55-minute drive away from the hotel is the perfect stop for some retail therapy. Kildare Village is home to over 100 brands from some of the world's most exciting designers. Powerscourt Center

Powerscourt Center is located just off Grafton Street in an elegant Georgian house. Featuring a mix of good quality brands like French Connection, high street stores and independent & stylish sellers of bijou goods, Powerscourt Townhouse is a must visit for the style savvy. 

 

Irish Designs                                                                                                         

Browse some gorgeous Irish designs in Avoca handweavers on Suffolk Street. Featuring everything from stylish scarves to woollen throws, Avoca is sure to have a little something special to take home with you. Established in 1723, Avoca Handweavers is a family owned craft store which originated in County Wicklow, and is now renowned for their beautifully woven fabrics.

Kilkenny is at the forefront of promoting Irish design. The store showcases everything from pottery, cosmetics, artwork, and jewellery offering the most on trend and sophisticated styles. Kilkenny store is located on Nassau Street.

House of Ireland is also located on Nassau Street and features the best of Irish fashion including Newbridge Silverware jewellery, Orla Kiely designed Bags as well as Waterford Crystal keepsakes to name a few.

And if you still haven't found what you're looking for, check out suburban shopping centre Dundrum Town Centre which is full to the brim with trendy shops and activities.
